What is the Tales of Hero System
Tales of Hero is a permanent progression system introduced in the modern chronicles of Lineage 2.
It is a special skill that is not tied to any specific class, and its effects apply to both the main class and the dual class, making it a global improvement for the entire character.
Unlike many other progression systems in the game, Tales of Hero does not level up by killing monsters directly. Instead, players must charge a success rate using special items, and once the success rate reaches 100%, the system increases in level.
This system functions as a passive upgrade that increases key stats such as maximum HP, attack power, defense, and elemental resistances.

How Tales of Hero Works
The system works through a success rate charging mechanic.
Each time you use compatible materials, you increase the success rate required to level up Tales of Hero.
There are several important rules to understand:
• The maximum success rate per attempt is 100%
• Any excess points beyond 100% are lost
• The skill can be used once it reaches 10% charge
• It cannot be used inside Olympiad or World Hunting Zones
Items that can be used as materials are marked with a Tales of Hero icon in their tooltip. Double-clicking the item will automatically open the system interface.
Materials Used to Level Up Tales of Hero
Several items can be used to increase the success rate of the system.
The main materials are:
Tales of Dimensions
An item used to recharge the system.
Tales of Aden – Event
An event version of the material.
Tales of Einhasad
A standard item used to increase the success rate.
Shining Tales of Einhasad
An enhanced version with a higher charge value.
Depending on the server or version of the game, these materials may be obtained through events, special shops, or PvE content.

Level 100 – 200
Major stat scaling and farming bonuses.
From these levels onward, the system becomes an important part of the character’s overall power.
Tips for Leveling Tales of Hero
Avoid using materials when your success rate is already close to 100%, since any extra charge will be lost.
Always confirm the maximum level available on your server, as some private servers limit the system to specific caps.
Prioritize reaching level 50 and level 200, since these milestones unlock important farming bonuses.
Does Tales of Hero affect the dual class?
Yes. The system is bound to the character, so its effects apply to both the main class and the dual class.
