The Korean Main Server received one of its largest updates of the year on October 28, 2026. It adds the new Bartz class, changes skills across several classes, introduces a hunting zone and an instance, and revises progression, market and character-creation systems. Everything below is confirmed in Korea; Europe and North American Aden do not yet have an official release date.
Bartz: a New Melee Rogue Class
Bartz is a male High Elf class that fights with a dagger and sigil. Its kit is built around mobility, light marks and follow-up attacks against marked targets. It also includes tools for detecting hidden enemies, entering combat quickly and responding to certain incoming attacks.
This addition is not limited to BASIC: Bartz joins Korea’s main game ecosystem. Names, values and conditions may change if the class is localized for other regions.
Skill and Class Progression Changes
- Vanguard gains the new Sign of Trust passive from level 76, improving BP recovery, attack, maximum HP and PvE damage.
- Several classes receive lower Spirit Ore costs on common skills.
- Some abilities are changed to land with guaranteed accuracy under the conditions listed in the Korean notes.
- High-stat thresholds become more valuable: STR and INT improve skill power at new breakpoints, while high DEX adds physical skill evasion.
The practical impact will depend on the exact tables and costs adopted by each region. Western players should not rebuild a character around Korean values before regional notes are published.
New Hunting Zone and Matching Instance
Storm Valley
A new level 92 field hunting zone is added. The update also redistributes monsters and adjusts experience, SP and respawn behavior in several existing areas.
Lindraco Gorge
This new level 90+ matching instance replaces Sairax Temple. It supports groups of one to five players and uses a 20-minute route with three consecutive bosses. Storm Seeds appear during boss fights and can create tornadoes, forcing the party to choose between destroying the seeds and rushing the boss.
Market, Class Change and Character Creation
- The Adena exchange section is removed from the World Exchange.
- Class Change receives a dedicated interface and history, plus tools for handling skills and items tied to previous classes.
- Character creation is reorganized into two steps: final class selection and appearance customization.
- New characters receive their first offensive skills earlier.
- A content calendar is added to the system menu.
Farming, Enchanting and Economy Adjustments
Several zones gain residual monsters that award EXP and SP but do not drop items. Fairy Occupation Area becomes stronger while offering more experience, and one previous hunting zone is removed. Failed enchants no longer grant certain upgrade materials, crystallizing equipment yields fewer crystals, and enchanted armor set effects from D to B Grade are revised.
This block can change the real value of farming, crystallizing and enchanting gear. More experience does not automatically mean a better economic result for the player.
What This Means for Europe and Aden NA
Korea is an early reference, not an automatic release calendar. Europe and North America may receive these systems later with different numbers, names or rewards. The useful takeaway is the direction of development: Bartz is designed as a mobile dagger class, NCSoft is refreshing level 90–92 content, and the game continues to simplify interfaces while rebalancing the gear economy.
