The September 16, 2026 Korean Main Server update focuses on two classes: Dreadnought gets a combat rework, while Vanguard receives new attacks, buffs, and skill improvements. Several hunting zones are also rebalanced. These changes are confirmed in Korea; no release date has been confirmed for Europe or North America.
Dreadnought: switch between groups and single targets
The new Stance Shift skill, learned automatically after the third class transfer, switches between Swing Mode and Pierce Mode. Swing turns basic attacks and selected skills into area attacks; Pierce focuses them on one enemy. Several skills change form with the stance.
- Tempest Judgment in Swing and Piercing Breaker in Pierce are new special attacks available while Storm of Fury is active. The Master version of the buff upgrades them.
- Tempest Spear / Rapid Pierce replace Spear Prison; Tempest Lightning / Lightning Charge replace Spear Stomp. The Korean notes say players who learned the old skills automatically receive their replacements.
- The kit also adds Tempest Anchor, a five-second pulling area, and revises movement skills, attacks, and passives around the two stances.
In practical terms, the class gains a clearer choice between clearing groups and pressuring a single target. That is an interpretation of the new stance design; its performance in other regions remains untested.
Vanguard: more reach, extra hits, and buff choices
Arc Impale gains power and range, and its Beast Harmony enhanced form strikes twice. Brandish and Brandish Wave now hit around the selected enemy rather than around the character. Wild Scratch, Shadow Scratch, and Phantom Scratch gain power and range; at skill levels 6–15, they hit twice.
The class gains Beast Stamp and the Beast Harmony buff. The new Hunting Beast offers an offensive alternative to Burning Beast; the two cannot be active together. Wild Evolution is revised, and its Master version unlocks Blazing Spear, an area attack with additional effects. Movement skills and several passives are also adjusted.
Shared skills and hunting zones
Dreadnought and Duelist can learn Expanded Life up to level 5, using the required book. Lionheart can no longer be dispelled, the HP/MP drain penalty on polearms is removed, and several passives change. This is not a full Duelist rework: the extensive class changes target Dreadnought and Vanguard.
In three level 92–93 areas — Lower Giant’s Cave, the depths of Abandoned Coal Mine, and Sel Mahum Elite Barracks — monsters gain vampiric resistance and elemental attack alongside increased experience. Blazing Swamp and some enemies in Hot Springs Snowfield also receive defensive adjustments. If these changes reach your server, review survivability and farming routes before treating the extra experience as a straightforward gain.
September 23 and 30 follow-ups: Vailmar and Vanguard fixes
The September 23, 2026 Korean Main Server notes continue the changes introduced one week earlier. In the Vailmar Fortress siege, Korea reduced the HP of the six major enemies listed in the notes, added return behavior for them, shortened the respawn time of regular monsters, and changed the restart area into a peace zone. These are permanent changes to the Korean content; their implementation in Europe or North America has not been confirmed.
The September 30, 2026 follow-up reduced the HP of six named enemies in the Vailmar Fortress siege again. The same notes fixed an issue that could prevent the Spear Strike visual effect from displaying correctly. These changes are confirmed only on the Korean Main Server.
The update also fixes an incorrect item requirement for learning Beast Harmony. In Korea, copies learned under the incorrect setting were removed and affected characters received six 1,000 SP Scroll [Imprint] items. The placement of enhancement information was also adjusted in the tooltips for Beast Impale, Shadow Scratch, Giant Beast Stamp, Flame Rage: Evolution, Wild Assault: Hunting, and Wild Rush: Hunting. The visual position of the effects for Brandish and Brandish Wave was corrected as well.
These points do not change the foundation of the rework, but they correct its initial implementation and alter how Vailmar works in Korea.
When will this reach Europe or North America?
At present, only the Korean Main Server deployment is confirmed. European and North American Essence/Aden versions may adapt these changes, alter details, or release them on a different date. Use the Korean notes to anticipate mechanics, and wait for your regional patch notes before spending resources or changing a build.
